(Grand Forks, ND) — A Grand Forks Public Schools middle school staff member is facing child sex crime charges. On Monday, the district said 31-year-old Malaun Alan Dilante Nelson is no longer working for Valley Middle School. The statement doesn’t specify whether he resigned or was fired from the school. Nelson was arrested on December 22nd and is being accused of soliciting sexual videos and photographs from at least one juvenile. According to an affidavit filed in the case, the 13-year-old boy’s parents discovered their son was communicating with an adult online and reported it to police.
