(Williston, ND) — A Williston woman must pay back more than one-point-five-million dollars in stolen wire. A judge sentenced Jonna Stroh to five years in prison and three years probation in addition to the restitution on Wednesday. Stroh pleaded guilty to stealing nearly one-point-five-million dollars worth of copper wire in 2024 as part of a cryptocurrency scam. She was charged with theft. Investigators say Stroh would steal spools of wire from the company she worked for and resell them at a salvage company for 15-thousand dollars each.
