North Dakota Launches HOPE Project To Protect Children From Abuse

(Bismarck, ND) — Lawmakers and advocacy groups in North Dakota are launching a project to help child abuse victims. HOPE Project is hosting a six-part webinar series focusing on signs of human trafficking and online child safety tips. It was launched by a conglomerate of six victim advocacy groups and several government officials attended the opening press conference on Thursday. The Children’s Advocacy Centers of North Dakota said they served more than three-thousand families in 2025 including one-thousand children who interviewers believe to be victims of abuse. Additionally, a new law adopted in 2025 will require three grade levels to complete course work about human trafficking and prevention in public school.
