(Rapid City, SD) — Black Hills Energy is urging customers to be prepared for potential power outages. The warning comes as forecasters project another high-wind storm after record-breaking winds caused multiple power outages last month. A Black Hills Energy spokesperson says have flashlights and candles ready and try to avoid opening the refrigerator door to keep food safe. They also suggest having blankets and things handy to keep warm.
