(Milbank, SD) — The South Dakota Department of Health is warning of a possible measles exposure at Milbank Elementary School. The exposure happened on January 15th after a student at the school was confirmed to have an infection. A memo was distributed through the district’s Facebook page. It reminds parents to keep kids safe by getting the measles vaccine. For those who suspect their child is infected, they are asked to contact their local healthcare provider.
