(Bismarck, ND) — An inmate at the state Penitentiary in Bismarck is recovering after being attacked by another inmate. The attack happened on Saturday, according to a Department of Corrections spokesperson. They did not identify what type of weapon was used in the attack. The victim was taken to a local emergency room where he is recovering. Prison staff is investigating the incident.
