(Dickinson, ND) — Dickinson Public Schools is saying an email fraud scheme cost them nearly five-million dollars. DPS says criminals impersonated a trusted vendor and redirected two scheduled payments to fraudulent accounts. The payments totaled roughly four-point-92-million dollars. DPS notified their financial institutions and is coordinating with law enforcement to try and retrieve the money. The FBI is investigating the case as well.
