Fargo Public School Leaders Lay Out Budget Cuts

(Fargo, ND) — The Fargo Public School Board is providing more details to their proposed budget cuts. The revelations come after a work session on Thursday. Superintendent Cory Steiner says the district needs to cut staff and certain programs, in addition to implementing new and increased fees. The board is trying to make up for multiple years of deficit spending by the district. They intend to save more than five-million dollars and will look to eliminate more than 50 full time jobs.
