(Bismarck, ND) — North Dakota’s eight commercial airports say boardings in January were down compared to 2025. The North Dakota Aeronautics Commission says compared to last year, January boardings were down two percent. The commission reports that even though there was a decline in passengers, seats available were up by two percent. They say it shows continued confidence in the airline industry despite the down tick in passengers. Minot Airport saw a six-point-36 percent down tick from the previous January, while Dickinson saw a 16-percent decline and Grand Forks saw a ten-percent decline.
