(Fargo, ND) — North Dakota State is officially in the NCAA Men’s College Tournament as a 14th seed. The Bison will face three seed Michigan State in the first round in Buffalo, New York on Thursday. NDSU was one of the first schools announced during the bracket reveal on Sunday and head coach Dave Richman said it was, “a little melodramatic right out of the gate but anytime you can hear your school announced, emotional goosebumps.” The Bison will be making their sixth overall appearance in the tournament although in 2020 it was canceled due to COVID-19. It’s effectively their first time playing in the event since 2019.
