(Pierre, SD) — A contingent of South Dakota leaders are heading on a trade mission to Japan and South Korea. The group will be led by Lieutenant Governor Tony Venhuizen who will be joined by South Dakota Trade President Jesse Fonkert, Economic Development Commissioner Bill Even, Agriculture Secretary Hunter Roberts and Soybean Research Council Director Jerry Schmitz. Venhuizen says the group is going with the clear message that, “South Dakota is open for opportunity.” The goal is to build commercial relationships with the Asian nations.
