(Centerville, SD) — Former Centerville Mayor Jay Ostrem is guilty of three counts of first-degree murder. The charges stem from a triple homicide on May 27th, 2024 that left Paul Frankus, Zachary Frankus and Timothy Richmond dead. Attorney General Marty Jackley said the, “verdict delivers justice for the victims and their loved ones.” Ostrem is set to be sentenced on May 14th. He served as Centerville mayor from 2009 through 2011.
