(Rapid City, SD) — The Rapid City Transit System is incorporating three new buses in the near future. On Tuesday, the organization unveiled two of the buses joining its RapidRide fleet during a ribbon-cutting ceremony at Milo Barber Transportation Center. The 30-foot buses are similar to the 2013 models they’re replacing, but feature a new interior design and carry six additional passengers. The Rapid City Transit System has a fleet of 27 vehicles and operates eleven buses on their fixed-route system.
