(Bismarck, ND) — A Bismarck man is avoiding prison time after pleading guilty to stabbing a man three times. Billy Baker pleaded guilty to aggravated assault for the attack on May 6th, 2025. He was originally charged with aggravated assault with a dangerous weapon, which carries a mandatory two-year prison sentence. Instead, he will serve two years of supervised probation on the lesser charge.
