Mandan Standoff Suspect Pleads Not Guilty To Felony Charges

(Mandan, ND) — A Mandan man is pleading not guilty to charges from a February standoff with police. Deputies say Correy Lee Davis barricaded himself inside a home, while holding a gun as officers tried to get inside. Before he surrendered to authorities, Davis is accused of lighting the home on fire in two different places. He was under a restraining order at the time that restricted him from coming near the owner of the home, and he had warrants out for his arrest. He is being charged with five counts, including arson, criminal mischief and endangering by fire or explosion, and his trial is scheduled to begin on June 17th.
