(Rapid City, SD) — Officials at Custer State Park say the first bison calf this season has been born. The park posted a photo of the calf and mom on social media, saying the news was not an April Fool’s joke. This comes after a new burro foal was spotted earlier this week. Park officials say this is one of the most exciting times of year for them. Custer State Park is home to a wildlife landscape that includes burros, elk, coyotes and many other animals.
