(Bismarck, ND) — A South Dakota man is facing murder charges for allegedly stabbing a man in Bismarck. Officers found 35-year-old Brooks Reynolds dead on a couch on Elk Ridge Drive on Thursday with more than a dozen cuts and puncture wounds. Steve Charging Eagle of Dupree, South Dakota was arrested shortly after the incident with injuries to his hands and forearms. Charging Eagle told officers he had stabbed someone in self-defense and when officers returned to the home, multiple bloody knives were found at the scene. Charging Eagle is set to appear in court on May 11th.
