(Minot, ND) — Infrastructure took center stage during the Minot State of the City address. Mayor Mark Jantzer delivered the address on Monday. He provided an update on the Northwest Area Water Supply project, which will pump 90 percent of Minot’s water from Lake Sakakawea. The project was started more than two decades ago but is expected to start pumping lake water by the end of the year. Jantzer also noted the Minot Air Force Base provided more than 950-million dollars worth of economic impact to the community last year.
