Man Accused Of Stealing Over 180 Cattle Skips Court Appearance

(Mandan, ND) — A man accused of stealing over 180 cattle is wanted after skipping a court appearance. John Johnson was supposed to be in court on Thursday for an update on his recent mental health evaluation. The judge issued a no-bond warrant for Johnson after he was a no-show to the hearing. Attorneys had not heard from Johnson since his release from the State Hospital in Jamestown on March 24th. The Bismarck address on Johnson’s paperwork led authorities to an empty lot.
