(Sioux Falls, SD) — A man is facing charges after a standoff in west Sioux Falls. Police are accusing Dane Tople of aggravated assault and possession of a loaded firearm while intoxicated. Police responded to a home where Tople was near 15th Street and Browning Drive after reports he was threatening a man with a gun. When they arrived, Tople barricaded himself in a home and forced the SWAT team to respond. Tople eventually surrendered peacefully at around 1:30 p.m. on Friday.
