(Minot, ND) — Extension agents are encouraging farmers to report land conditions as planting season ramps up. They want to know how dry or wet the land is to paint a clearer picture of drought conditions in the area. The data will be collected by the CMOR system and go directly to the U.S. Drought Monitor map. The reports can be made weekly and anonymously, regardless of the season. They can be made online at the North Dakota State University Extension website.
