(Minot, ND) — The Minot Public School District and its teachers are finalizing a one-year contract. The deal is just awaiting approval by the teacher’s union and the school board. The final agreement was reached after negotiations on Sunday afternoon. Board member Scott Louser tells Your News Leader that everyone is getting a raise, but there would be adjustments to the scale based on experience. A key determining factor to full staff pay increases are the board’s projected savings from switching to a new health insurance carrier.
