(Lake Poinsett, SD) — Authorities respond as a vehicle falls through ice at Lake Poinsett on Sunday. The Hamlin County Sheriff’s Office is advising extreme caution when accessing the lake. The truck fell through the ice at the Sorensen Lake Access point along U.S. Highway 81. No injuries were reported. The lake was closed while the vehicle was being removed.
