Bismarck Mom Pleads Guilty To Giving Daughter Fentanyl-Laced Cigarette

(Bismarck, ND) — A Bismarck woman will serve three years in prison for giving her daughter a fentanyl-laced cigarette. Celines Gomez-Rivera was sentenced on Wednesday. She was charged with one count of distribution of a controlled substance resulting in death or injury. Her daughter was 15-years-old when Gomez-Rivera gave her a marijuana cigarette laced with fentanyl. First responders needed to administer two doses of Narcan before she was taken to a nearby hospital.
