(Sioux Falls, SD) — The six candidates running for the Sioux Falls School Board are sharing why they’re running. There are three open seats on the board in the upcoming June 2nd election. All six candidates attended a forum hosted by the League of Women Voters at the Instructional Planning Center in Sioux Falls on Thursday. Two incumbent candidates pointed to budget concerns as the biggest problem. Other candidates cited AI, a changing workforce, community engagement and literacy concerns as the biggest problems facing the district.
