(Rapid City, SD) — A Rapid City 18-year-old must serve eight years in prison. Connor Allen was sentenced on Friday for firing multiple gunshots into a parking lot in March of last year. Prosecutors say he was targeting a group of four teenagers as they were walking out of a store. Allen pleaded guilty to two counts of aggravated assault, which were lesser charges than original charges of attempted murder. Allen’s ex-girlfriend, who was one of the victims, told the court she replays the incident in her head every single day.
