(Rapid City, SD) — The National Park Service is expanding hours at Jewel Cave National Monument. The move is being made to stay ahead of the busy summer travel season. The hours will be extended to 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. starting on May 24th. Wild Caving Tours are set to begin on May 22nd and Historic Lantern Tours are running from June 1st through September 1st. Park officials recommend making reservations in advance for all tours.
