(Minot, ND) — One of two suspects charged with multiple sex crimes is changing their plea to guilty. Amber Hattem and her husband Dalton of Minot are being charged with having child sexual abuse materials and sexual exploitation of elders at a care facility. On Monday, Amber pleaded guilty to three counts tied to both cases while prosecutors dismissed other charges as part of the agreement. Dalton was convicted in the elder abuse case by a jury back in September and he will be sentenced on June 9th. The CSAM case against him is unresolved.
