(Minot, ND) — The Minot Park District says they are receiving more reports about wild moose in town. Officials say they have been receiving reports of the animals near the Oak Park area. Law enforcement and wildlife officials have been notified of the increase. Experts warn that laid back ears, hair standing up and the smacking or licking of lips are all signs of stress and potential charging. Residents are being told to keep their distance and avoid trying to take photos of the moose.
