(Union Co. SD) — A big cleanup effort is underway in McCook Lake. Debris continues to pile along the shoreline as dredge work gets underway. The receding lake water has exposed trash and scrap material. Volunteers will gather this Saturday, May 3rd, to clean up the mess. Folks who own all-terrain vehicles are encouraged to bring them. Children will not be allowed to participate due to glass and other dangerous items in the area.
