(Sioux Falls, SD) — U.S. Secretary of Education Linda McMahon got a close look at South Dakota schools Wednesday. She visited the McCrossan Boy’s Ranch in Sioux Falls, alongside Gov. Larry Rhoden and state Secretary of Education Joe Graves. It’s part of a 50-state tour for McMahon as the Trump administration pushes to give more authority on education to the states. McMahon said the school, which offers education for young men facing a variety of challenges, has shown great success redirecting the lives of the young men. She called it, “pretty phenomenal.”
