Twins Blow Out Red Sox In Series Opener

(Minneapolis, MN) — The Twins blew out the Red Sox 13-6 in their series opener from Minneapolis. Victor Caratini launched a three-run blast, while Ryan Kreidler, Byron Buxton and Ryan Jeffers each went deep with a solo shot. Minnesota has now won three straight and seven of its last eight games. The Twins improved to 10-and-7. They send Mick Abel to the mound against the Red Sox tonight.
