(Minot, ND) — A former Central High School employee must serve three years in prison for child sex crimes. Hiroki Ito of Minot entered an Alford plea for alleged offenses against three students. Ito is accused of communicating with three victims under 15 years old, scheduling video calls, meet ups and “virtual sleepovers.” Ito had instructed the teenagers to change his name in their phones so their parents couldn’t determine who was sending the messages. At least one of the three girls said the incidents left them untrusting of school employees.
