(Sioux Falls, SD) — One of the two suspects in an officer-involved shooting in Sioux Falls appears in court. Loretta Elizabeth Bettelyoun made her first appearance on Thursday. She is being charged with robbery and accessory to a crime. The suspect accused of shooting the officer, Darren Reuben Richards, is set to make his initial appearance on Friday. Richards is facing nine charges including attempted murder of law enforcement, robbery, eluding, and aggravated assault against law enforcement.
