Wolves Season Ends; Lose to Spurs in Game 6

(Minneapolis, MN) — The San Antonio Spurs are going to the Western Conference Finals. The Spurs earned a 139-109 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves in Game Six of the Western Conference Semifinals from the Target Center. San Antonio went on a 20-0 run to start the second quarter and led by double-digits the rest of the way. Stephon Castle led the way with 32 points and 11 rebounds, while De’Aaron Fox chipped in with 21 points. The Spurs won the best-of-seven series 4-2, and they’ll take on the Thunder in the next round. Anthony Edwards had 24 points in the losing effort as the Wolves failed to make a third straight trip to the Western Conference Finals.
