(Rapid City, SD) — A juvenile is facing charges for allegedly crashing a car into Rapid Creek on Saturday. The crash happened after a pursuit that started around 11:00 p.m. when officers found a silver SUV that matched the description of one that was reported stolen. Officers tried to conduct a traffic stop but the vehicle took off at a high rate of speed. The driver lost control of the vehicle near the intersection of Maple Avenue and Omaha Street. A driver and passenger exited the vehicle after it plunged into the creek and the driver was detained by police.
