Bismarck Fire Department Extinguishes Hotel Fire

(Bismarck, ND) — Bismarck fire crews say a fire at Ramada by Wyndham may have been intentionally set. It started around 8:00 p.m. on Thursday at the hotel on the 14-hundred block of East Interchange Avenue. All residents and staff inside were safely evacuated but smoke remained in the building well after it was extinguished. A preliminary investigation shows it was likely started in the kitchen. Law enforcement apprehended a person who officials believe started the fire.
