(Sioux Falls, SD) — A man is facing 23 charges including rape, kidnapping and aggravated assault. Police say Richard Nemec was holding a woman against her will for several days in his apartment in Sioux Falls until she was able to contact police. Police believe Nemec was involved in multiple other incidents involving the same victim over the last two months. The sexual assault and aggravated assault incidents began in January and ended two weeks ago. Nemec is being held on a 500-thousand dollar bond.
