(Sioux Falls, SD) — Early and absentee voting is underway after some South Dakota counties were delayed. Yesterday, voters in Minnehaha County and Lincoln County filed into their local administration buildings, filling out their ballots. There was a four-day delay for these counties due to a quirk in the calendar that left the last Tuesday of the month March 31st, leaving a short window for the state to certify candidates. There’s still plenty of time as voting will be available through June 2nd.
