(Bismarck, ND) — North Dakota Environmental Quality Director Dave Glatt will retire at the end of July after 43 years of state service. Glatt became the agency’s first director when it became standalone in 2019. State officials say his work included drinking water protections, groundwater projects, and efforts to maintain clean air standards.
