(Minot, ND) — Defense leaders gathered for the Nuclear Triad Symposium in Minot on Tuesday. It was the second time Minot held the symposium after hosting it in 2024. The focus was on America’s defense and the future of the Sentinel program that is replacing the aging Minuteman Three missile system. General Stephen Davis of the Global Strike Command said the readiness of Minot’s airmen plays an important role in the nation’s security. Governor Kelly Armstrong added it’s a great opportunity that comes with great responsibility to help transition the switch from Minuteman to Sentinel at Minot Air Force Base.
