(Bismark, ND) — The Federal Aviation Administration is awarding 17-point-nine-million dollars to North Dakota airports. The funding is being provided by the Fiscal Year 2026 Airport Improvement Program for infrastructure projects that improve the traveler experience. Nine airports are receiving awards ranging from 57-thousand to two-point-six million dollars for projects on runways, taxiways, hangars and snow removal equipment. Senator John Hoeven says the grants provide important improvements to safety and efficiency at state airports.
