(Bismarck, ND) — The Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library is in the final stretch, setting the stage for a major July 4 opening in Medora that state leaders expect to draw thousands of visitors from around the country and the world. Governor Armstrong is already promoting the library, saying it will be just one more thing that attracts tourists to North Dakota on America’s 250th birthday. The governor says the state has been planning for more than a year, coordinating emergency services, transportation, public safety, and local partners. Opening day includes a public ceremony set for 10:27 a.m., a nod to Roosevelt’s October 27th birthday.
