Motorcyclist In Custody After High-Speed Chase

(Jamestown, ND) — A 30-year-old man is in custody after leading police on a motorcycle chase. Jamestown Police tried to perform a traffic stop on the motorcycle around 5:00 p.m. when he fled down city streets at speeds approaching 100 miles per hour before getting on Interstate 94. On I-94, the bike was clocked as speeds of 115 miles per hour. The man eventually crashed while failing to navigate a turn over railroad tracks that led to a gravel road. The man is facing felony charges for fleeing and driving under the influence.
