(Minot, ND) — This week, candidates for Minot mayor and city council will participate in a forum. On Tuesday, the Minot Alliance Nonprofits is partnering with the Minot Area Council of the Arts and Independence Incorporated to host the candidate forum. Seven candidates are competing for three open seats on the City Council, while incumbent Mark Jantzer is facing challenger Josiah Roise in the mayoral race. The forum is being held at the Carnegie Center of Minot from 4 to 6:30 p.m. A debate for the races is also scheduled for next week on May 28th.
