(Rapid City, SD) — Two juveniles are facing charges for shooting guns in Rapid City on Tuesday morning. Police say they discovered several spent shotgun shells on the 600 block of Lindbergh Avenue around 12:30 a.m. After finding the spent shells, officers spotted two people wearing dark clothes and leaving the area in the back of a car. They found a shotgun on the floor of the back seat of the vehicle when they pulled it over and police say the two juveniles refused demands to get out of the car. One of the suspects was found to be on probation while the other was on parole and they have both been placed back into the juvenile justice system.
