(Dunn County, ND) — The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is requesting additional funding from Dunn County for repairs at the Lake Ilo Dam. The dam was drained in 2022 after water seepage was found. County commissioners voted on the request last week, but one commissioner was absent and the vote ended in a tie. U.S. Fish and Wildlife plans on resubmitting the request, and if all goes well, the dam repairs could be completed as early as October.
