(Watford City, ND) — A Watford City man is in jail for theft and drug charges. McKenzie County Sheriff’s deputies say 18-year-old Tadan Defoe stole a truck earlier this month and is also suspected of several other thefts in the area. The sheriff’s office says a search warrant of his home resulted in deputies finding marijuana, meth, firearms, and materials used for weighing and selling drugs. Defoe is currently being held on a 50-thousand-dollar bond.
