North Dakota Traffic Deaths Hit All-Time Low

(Bismarck, ND) — North Dakota is seeing a huge drop in traffic deaths, the lowest number seen in nearly 30 years. Police across the state recorded 85 traffic deaths in 2025, the lowest number since 1996. The year before saw 89 traffic fatalities. Vision Zero and partners across the state spent the week discussing ways to bring the numbers down even further. They worry that 2026 traffic deaths are already on track to surpass 2025.
