(Fargo, ND) — New safety measures are in place at this year’s Downtown Fargo Street Fair. Fargo authorities deployed new safety barriers in multiple locations for the event. Officials say the technology was purchased in January to help prevent potential vehicle attacks during large, public gatherings. Over 100-thousand people are expected to attend the multi-day event, which starts today and lasts through Saturday.
